Dsquared2

I admit I am cheap. Cheap to the point that I will take my teacup and/or a bottle of water with me anywhere I go, brown bag my lunch daily, park my car in downtown Belgrade only on Sundays when parking is free city-wide and reuse the free plastic bags you get in supermarkets for a variety of different purposes (any ideas, C101?). Not only will I reuse them, but I will also stubbornly refuse to buy plastic or paper bag in ANY shape or form (like, say, bags for lining trashcans or freezing food etc.) and use the free ones instead, especially since I am also trying to minimize my carbon footprint. The Serbian Government is trying to enforce laws in an attempt to reduce plastic bag use and plastic bag litter but until that happens I am going to save me some money and keep reusing the ones the supermarkets give out so liberally.
That said, there are times when I do believe I would be ready to give my entire disposable income for an item of  Dsquared2 clothing like this fur coat, for example ...

Well, I would probably have to throw in my left arm and kidney for that one...
The most affordable items are cotton T shirts (anywhere from 60 to 120 EUR on yoox.com) and casual trousers (upward from 140 EUR) but you can also find flipflops for 92 EUR and a regular cotton safari dress for 450 EUR.
Statement pieces like one of these coats will cost you an amount of money that most people inhabiting this planet would consider a fortune.

Every now and then I will stumble upon a perfect and most unforgivably expensive piece of Dsquared2, like these leather pants and irreversibly fall in love with it.
What I will do then is add it to my online shopping cart and let it stay there for a couple of weeks during which time I will go back to it to admire it and match it in my head to this hat or that top and think of the situations or events where I would wear it. My love affair usually ends by me getting my heart broken when I get the "One item left" notice and watch it get snatched by some lucky bitch from practically in front of my eyes.
Still too much for a Balkan girl on a budget.

Yes, I do feel appropriately guilty for being so shallow
and craving a material thing so badly but I comfort myself
that it's the beauty I crave, not the monetary value of the item...

It's not just the money. I mean, where DO you wear sweatpants with fur coat (and a baseball cap!) or a denim jacket with a silky evening gown? Caten brothers' clothes defy practicality for the mere fun of it!

This is SO my lovely Selma Dj.
And this is so me on my day off.

Some of the spring - summer 2012
And that's real mud on the catwalk...
how appropriate for the Glastonbury Festival were the show was held.
I am sure the models loved it.

They still don't have a shop in Belgrade. The moment it opens, I will take my spot by the front entrance with a   cardboard sign that says "I work for clothes".
And just a hint of autumn winter 2012 collection...

The twins who make you look up a plural form of noun genius...Dean and Dan Caten!

It's GENIUSES!
